Hi, I’m Aubrey.
My own bumpy ride through frustrating health challenges ultimately led me to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and 200hr yoga teacher – and it taught me the incredible wisdom our bodies hold. Prior to my professional training, I saw countless practitioners and spent thousands trying to find root causes to some of the symptoms I was facing. We'll call it a little “health explosion” that took stage at 28. It didn't happen all at once, but crept up slowly with a symptom here, antibiotic there; until the rain bucket was just too full. My body is sensitive, speaks loud and clear, and it’s a gift I value deeply! This ability to listen to the body, honed through both my personal experience, training, and my yoga practice, is central to my approach in nutritional therapy. I help clients understand the language of their bodies through nutrition and functional gut testing, to address the root of imbalances and restore homeostasis. It is a complementary approach in supporting the foundations of our health.
Ultimately, feeling good is our birthright and just because something is common doesn’t mean it’s normal. I believe that our bodies do not ever want to work against us but can struggle with poor digestion, detoxification, and insufficient nutrient absorption. All leading to a stressful internal environment that is quite cozy for inflammation, toxin build up, pathogens, opportunistic bacterial overgrowths of the gut, parasites, and heavy metals; making it challenging for them to do their incredible and innate functions in regenerating and restoring themselves.
So a little bit about my health journey that led me here! It started with lots of strep throat cases as a kid and when I got to college I had a tonsillectomy after numerous trips to the ER with my tonsils swollen beyond belief. At 22 I was diagnosed with stage 1 melanoma in a place that seldom saw the sun. I was told it was from genetics & sun exposure but looking back, I know this was just one of the ways my body was screaming at me. My cells were capable of housing cancer, but adjusting diet & lifestyle was still an eye roll to me at that age. Six years later chronic conditions and mystery symptoms crept in. Here and there, I had experienced everything from multiple sinus and ear infections, hormonal imbalances, recurring UTIs, anxiety and depression, low grade inflammation. It seemed like there was always something.

I knew I had much to be grateful for, but at the same time none of this was normal and trying to get to the bottom of it with various doctors felt like a wild goose chase. I also began to realize that another antibiotic or prescription wasn’t getting to the root of anything but absolutely destroying my gut and prolonging my healing. We have tremendous agency over changing our physical and mental health with food, nutrition, the right labs, and lifestyle adjustments. It’s with my own lived experience, extensive training, and holistic nutrition practice that I hope to make functional nutrition, proper gut testing, interpretation, and customized protocols more accessible — so more people can achieve health and vitally!
